PERFECT PIZZA UPGRADES TO THE TSP100 FUTUREPRNT™ THERMAL RECEIPT PRINTER FROM STAR

Perfect Pizza, the third largest pizza delivery chain in the UK, has taken the decision to upgrade its point-of-sale printers to the revolutionary TSP100 futurePRNT thermal receipt printer from leading international POS printer manufacturer, Star Micronics.

With over 120 stores nationwide, Perfect Pizza is upgrading its existing SP200 dot matrix receipt printers from Star Micronics to the TSP100 futurePRNT. The printer is connected to a Touch Screen system designed by leading systems integrator, Integer. Founded in 1986, Integer has extensive experience and expertise in the POS arena having supplied in excess of 4,000 POS systems nationwide and installed over 800 systems in the fast food and pizza delivery sector.

As the POS systems at Perfect Pizza are currently being upgraded to touch screen across the UK, the new thermal printers are in turn being installed. The move from matrix to thermal technology has been made possible as receipts are now no longer handled in store (orders to be made are now displayed on a kitchen monitor) but rather printed out when the order has been processed and the food is ready for despatch.

By upgrading to the TSP100 futurePRNT Perfect Pizza now benefits from high speed printing, exceptional print quality and a range of unique features. A highly sophisticated and cost effective single station printer, the TSP100 futurePRNT printer provides a number of software tools that enable the overall appearance of receipts to be easily modified with the company logo and customers to be effectively targeted through the addition of relevant coupons. Capable of printing 25 x 150mm receipts per minute, regardless of font used or whether graphics are included, the TSP100 futurePRNT offers high speed, reliable performance.

Geoff Whittle, a partner at Integer, states, “We have worked with Star Micronics for 12 years and in our experience Star printers provide outstanding performance. It is for this reason that we recommended Perfect Pizza to upgrade to the TSP100 futurePRNT. Furthermore, installation of the printer has proved to be extremely simple and straightforward.”

Simon Jarvis, Head of Marketing at Perfect Pizza, adds, “Having been impressed by the high quality performance and reliability of the SP200 matrix printer it was an obvious choice to upgrade to the TSP100 futurePRNT from Star Micronics. The TSP100 futurePRNT meets our basic requirements as well as providing us with a range of additional unique features.”
